Nimitta

Nimitta has created waves in kannada theate circle. It's a story about an urban family and the challenges it faces, particularly the women of the household. The play unfolds in the corridor of a hospital. The husband is in the ICU and his mother, wife and two daughters are waiting for the doctor. They are told that the man’s health is deteriorating and there is no chance of him recovering and even if he does the doctor says he will be in a vegetable state till death. So, does the man deserve to be looked after by the women?

Has he led a life which entitles him to be looked after? This is the dilemma faced by all the four women in the play.
