About us
Ranga Vartula US Chapter [501(c)(3) organization determined as public charity under 509(a)(2)] is an Indian Theater Company based in the DFW and DMV area and , that is primarily focused on building the Kannada Theater community. We present theatrical productions, as well as conduct theater workshops in Kannada for all age groups - adults and children, with the help of a group of passionate and experienced thespians from the DFW & DMV area. We strive to explore newer creative possibilities in Kannada Theater and hope to revive and present the classics at the same time.
Our Mission
The mission of Ranga Vartula US Chapter is two-fold : present good quality Kannada plays to the theater-loving audiences in the DFW & DMV area / US ; and to provide a platform for amateur artists to develop and grow their theater-related talents.
Once the passion for theater is realized, it becomes a never -ending pursuit, striving for completeness in every performance. It is this passion among the founding members that led to the formation of Ranga Vartula. The word 'Ranga' means stage and 'Vartula' means circle and together they signify the completeness with which each artist performs their acts, resulting in impactful and unforgettable performances.
